What's coming.
The fence comes first. Five of these already run on our test herd in software. None have been on real cattle yet.
Built in software
Working on our test herd today. Next stop is real cattle.
Rotate pastures on a schedule
Set the paddocks and the days. The gate opens, the herd walks to fresh grass, and the fence closes behind them.
Run it by text
Text "who's out?" or "move them to Creek Thursday." Changes wait for your YES. A summary lands at six every morning.
Move when the grass is ready
Satellite pictures show how green each paddock is. The herd moves when the grass runs low, and waits until the next paddock has grown back.
Heat and health
The tag already feels every step she takes. Walking more than usual may mean heat. Walking less may mean lame or sick. You get a heads-up to go look.
Night alarm
If the herd bolts at night, your phone rings.
After the cattle trial
These learn from how real cows respond.
A cue for each cow
It learns what each cow answers to. Never louder, never more often.
Follow the leaders
Most herds follow a few cows. Cue those and the rest come along.
Trouble before it starts
It spots the cows likely to test the fence and widens the line for them.
Try it first
See what a change would do before you send it to the herd.
Further out
The hardest one comes last.
Bring them home
Draw a route to the pens. The tags walk the herd in, no four-wheeler needed.
